Learning to fly Bijou's G2 Asymmetrical Spinnaker
January 19, 2003

Heading out the estuary, upwind. Jerry Barrilleaux and Pete Pillsbury are crewing with Judy and Dave.

Using the snuffer to collapse the chute.

Completely snuffed, ready to drop the spinnaker halyard.

The "designed wind-range" diagram for the G2 is on the right. Ours is made of 1.5 oz cloth, rather than the typical 0.75 oz. If we get skilled enough, we should be able to use it in winds approx 5 kts higher TWS than shown on this graph.
